Operations Manager

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the central operational point of contact across all departments and labels, ensuring work flows smoothly between teams and nothing falls through the cracks
  • Assess and improve workflows across the organization by identifying bottlenecks, redundancies, and gaps in how teams operate and hand off work to each other
  • Act as the first point of contact when team members encounter operational roadblocks. Resolve issues directly and implement systemic fixes to prevent recurrence.
  • Create and maintain SOPs and process documentation for each department so institutional knowledge is captured, accessible, and not dependent on any single person
  • Define and communicate clear requirements to the technology team when operational problems require new tools or system improvements
  • Monitor recurring operational issues and maintain visibility into resolution timelines, open items, and company-wide process health
  • Support the onboarding of new team members by ensuring that documented processes and training materials are current and comprehensive
  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize operational improvements that have the greatest impact on efficiency and team performance

Required

  • 5+ years in operations, project management, or a cross-functional coordination role within a growing organization
  • Proven ability to learn new departments quickly, diagnose process issues, and implement practical solutions
  • Strong instinct for translating operational problems into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams
  • Highly organized with a disciplined approach to follow-through, documentation, and accountability
  • Effective communicator across all levels of the organization, from leadership to entry-level team members
  • Comfortable working across multiple business units simultaneously without losing sight of details

Preferred

  • Experience in film, media, distribution, or entertainment operations
  • Familiarity with project management and workflow tools
  • Experience writing technical requirements or product specifications for internal tools
  • Background in a fast-growing company where operational infrastructure was being built alongside the business
